PostPost by: Pistacchio sprint 72 » Sun Jun 23, 2013 12:35 pm

The sunday blatt. An opportunity to gun our cars far from home on twisty mountains road full of hairpin and curves!

Last time during the shake down, i did not climb high enough to my expectations... So i needed to challenge my elan one step further...

So we met with my friend laurent and his caterham. The odds were against us an ironman event was taking place close to our meeting point. It has been hell to get on the right roads, free of bikes and sweaty athletes...

After overtaking cars, deutsch camping cars, bus and trucks.... Now we had to be cautious because of stones on the road. Some were bigger than others... With sharp edges, no good for a wet sump nor for the tires.

Some warnings were not necessary as the sun was shinning. A really nice day for a blatt

His ecu had trouble with the altitude. He was loosing power, and his exhaust was banging loud with unburnt fuel...
He could feel my breath on his neck...

Some people kept walking to the top... You might be able to see a snow truck on top of the pic

Normally, you should be able to drive to the top and drive down on the other side... But it looked like the other side of the road had not be shovelled yet....
And don t you stare at me like that cause i ain ?t gonna do it!
