I have done all the prep, so all cracks have been ground back, patched behind and tissued all areas which are subject to stress have had additional layers behind. Suspension rebuilt, new shocks, brakes etc, engine gearbox and diff rebuilt wiring redone, heater rebuilt etc etc, so I laugh at pin holes !!!!

Yes I understand. You laugh in the face off pinholes?. But believe me, they laugh back. Like little choir boys singing a Christmas Carole.... The smallest one?s have the most annoying voices.

The thing is, if you paid someone to do the work it would bother you. But when you do it yourself, you see everything. I know where every little F? er is on my Elan. Without boring you with details, I too went to EXTREEM lengths to avoid them appearing, but they sneak in and they never go away!.... Little B@$7@d$

Gaud I think I can hear them singing in the garage now?.. Need to go check

You are right it is why I pay someone else to do the paint, I dont mind anything else, but as the painter is a good friend I am sure I will hear about every blemish that I did not prepare correctly !!
