Hello guys! In order to match my new set of xas ff ... Yeah i know they are not on the car yet. Well, when you see dumb and dumber working in tires shop, you do?t feel confident to hand them your beloved elan...
If you ask these guys if they know How to remove a spinner, you will see the same kind of look in their eyes as in the hbo s?rie " the walking dead"

Well i got carried away... This 1960 circa Disc is meant to indicate your arrival time in a parking place. You get a fine if you stay too long. You display it on your Dashboard inside your car.

As they are made of cardboard these promotional Michelin items are becoming hard to source...

It compl?tes nicely the accessories of my car.

Although it is a French item, if someone want me to source One for him, just pm me. You never know.

Ced

I am about to take the plunge on some XAS FF myself for my '71 Sprint.

If I may be as so bold, 165 or 155? and what price were they?

Bought them from longstone tyres. Approx 800 euros including the 4 necessary inflatable doughnuts That fit inside the tires. They are not tubeless. You need the tubes to go in. I asked for the matching Michelin tubes to suit the xas.
These xas in these specific size are delivered only in the ff compound. Which is the softer grade.

Thank you for the reply.

My slightly obscure 155/165 question was prompted by the tyres in your picture. The Sprint had 155 tyres from the factory, but I believe the XAS come in 155 and 165 widths. Your tyres looked as if they were wider than 155 and I wondered which size you had chosen.

Andy.

I cannot tell what kind of hammer you have, but you can get Copper hammers, or plastic-covered dead blow hammers that won't mark your spinners.

I CAN not f...g beleive it!!!!

I gave this morning my wheel and tyre to the shop. I just pointed out tyres had an inside and an outside tyre wall written on it to respect.

I came back at noon to gather it. Once back home for lunch i was about to Take it out of the trunk when i noticed they had installed the tyre wrongly!!!

I Will return my wheel on my Way back to work... Geeeez

The little balance weights are hidden inside the wheel. Three done by now still One to go!

I used this delrin hammer instead of the lead One. I contacted sarto to purchase his tool and the torque r?versible wrench to go With it...
