As a new comer to Elan ownership but having grown up in the day this is great stuff!

What would be a good read on the subject?

Hey guys, Oxford models produce some Elan Plus 2's in both 1/76 scale and 1/43rd.

http://www.oxforddiecast.co.uk/shop/sho ... =323&Lotus

I have one of each to go into my lotus model collection, and they are really well made.

If you read the whole post you should find that the original poster was looking to make a model of his car, also a few other people were making it sound that they were not aware of the +2 model as he might have been interested in making a +2 model of some of the other formula one drivers cars.

So I hope you don't mind but I thought I would just point out that models of +2's existed.

Hi all again
Meanwhile someone places fotos of Rindt?s S4, have a look what I just finished
It is a trio of Lotus used by ex-Team Lotus drivers
-The Esprit was used by Nigel Mansell during 1982-1984 seasons
-The Europa was used by Peterson during British GP 1973
_The Elan Plus+2 was used by Fittipaldi in the same event
With every transkit you can complete at least 2 cars (Elan or Europa + Esprit)
Manufacturer is Axel-r
www-axel-r.com
Includes reg.plates and complete JPS livery
I just hope you like

Thanks for your commitments Paul
You don?t have to be a good modeller to make them
For the Elan the best option is an Oxford Elan .You only have to paint the toof in gold as there is a black version
For the Europa you can choose between a Cararama Kyosho or Spark (depending the money you want to spend)
For the Esprit the AutoArt is the best option (paint interior in red as the real thing)
Now I am involved in the Rindt?s Elan S4...let?s see
