Good morning Brian,

I have several, sorry, 73 registered Sprints, 1 to be sold shortly, form an orderly queue! I shall dig out the paperwork for all of them this week, and report back on when, and where, the plates are located.

John, as I recall, you have a kind girl, so dont let her see your last posting, otherwise she may not be kind any longer, if you kinda see what I mean.

Don't know if these "no numbers allowed on grill" applied to Europas :D . My original spec Special has grill numbers - built (according to Lotus archives) end of Feb 1973 thus missing out on the ?0 car tax by 2 months  .

You are right Leslie, she's an absolute treasure, knows I'm a sad old git and makes many allowances for me

Apologies all, my first posting on this subject should, of course, read "B Waring on Friday 23rd February 1973"

I have also attempted to find out where I originally got 2.12.73 as the registration date for MAH 552L but can not at the moment. And Steve you are quite right, it must have been registered in Norwich between March and July 1973

Oh and Steve, Sunday morning 0605 hours, up in time to check e-mails, make wife cup of tea, have breakfast and charge off to be on our boat to start the race at 1030 hours sharp. That's every Sunday (and Saturdays too) between March and November.
