As the factory records are no longer available at the Lotus Archives, I hope some of you will be able to help me getting more information about the S1 bodyshell I own.

The only thing I got from Andy Graham was this line:
Body number 3240 was originally fitted to unit number 3724. It was sold to Ecurie Shirlee Dist. Corp. We no longer have build records so I cannot tell you any more.

The only thing I can add is that your car left the factory with engine number LP756 and was invoiced on 11th August 1963

Thanks a lot.

I guess colour was was "Carnival red", but this is just a thought based on the different coatings I found on the body.
