Big Valve Head - what's it worth?

Hi All
I've been offered a head that appears to be in good condition and has big valves and high lift cams (I've not had the full spec yet). It comes complete with a pair of nice 45's and an airbox (not original). It doesn't have a cam cover though.
Anybody have a rough idea of what it's worth?
Regards
Wyn

In UK, you never see a good Weber head (no cracks or other obvious concerns) go for less than ?1000. Even some bad ones go for that. If "ready to fit" with valves, guides and seats known to be in good condition, it will often be double that.
I'm not sure there is a huge premium for Big Valve - but perhaps 25%?

I'd pay less for a big valve than a standard head. They were skimmed at the factory and when new were only 4.598/4.603" with only another .010" allowed to be removed. That means little scope for skimming twice more!!
Ask what thickness the head is now Wyn....don't part with any readies until you know, and you know that it's perfectly flat.

Thanks for all the responses - I've not had a chance to get back to the seller yet - will let you know on progress. Also hoping to get my 26R shell back home tomorrow with seats, pedal box, column, rad all fitted and the additions to the cage done too!
