A word invented by the scriptwriters of 'Porridge' (a British tv sitcom about life in prison) to be used in place of the rather better-known expletive which was, I understand, originally an acronym for a very common offence committed in many a hayloft in the middle ages and entered thus in court records:- 'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge - fined the sum of two shillings'.

Hi all,

Got her up and running,cleared the garage floor ,( Big fan fair) found 1,2,3,4,but couldn't find reverse lifted the gear leaver tried next to 1,2,3,4, still couldn't find it. So where is it hiding?

Did you have any luck finding reverse? You did not offer up a lot of info on what has been done with the Elan so it's a bit difficult to diagnose a problem without much of a problem statement. The title doesn't help either. Without any info from you we can only guess what has been done. I don't know what car you own or anything much about it. I guess I can look up some of the past posts to garner this info but thats really not what I am up for. If you have a legitimate problem lets see some of the info that will help us to HELP you.
