Hi Christian

The car was originally white, I bought it in this color of Royal blue 26 years ago, no plans to change it.

The car is #6138, one of the very last "ventless" coupes.

When I put in my Fuel Safe cell, I also installed a Monza quick fill cap.

The wheels are 26R replicas produced by UK Racing Castings, custom drilled to fit standard knock off hubs, 13x5.

The spinners are 26R replica spinners by TTR, custom threaded to fit standard hubs.

The car has a TTR chassis and a-arms, 1700 TC with some goodies, ultra close trans, Safety Devices roll bar, and a bunch of other stuff.

It appears that the valve cover was chromed. Is that the case?

Do you have a contact address for the wheels - are they Mags?

Gary, the cover was polished by me, and I painted the area between the ridges and lettering. The screw in oil cap is a conversion kit that was sold by JAE.

Ian, the url is : http://www.uk-racing-castings.co.uk/

The wheels are aluminum. The offset is a little different than stock, without flares slightly narrower tires are required.

Looks really nice!
Does the fuel cell work with your stock fuel gauge?

Testing the memory a bit here.... IIRC a certain type of fuel gage was specified for the cell. I was able to obtain a VDO guage in that spec that is very, very close to the original style.

Having said that, I have never been able to get the d*** thing to read exactly right, still rely on the trip odo for when it's time to fill up. I would attribute the failure to me and not the electronics. :(
