Honey I shrunk the Elan

Tonight was the first 30 mile run in my Elan which came off the road in poor state in 2008.
It’s been a long time coming back. Good progress initially but over the last 10 years I have crammed in about 3 months work
Could not believe how small the Elan looks compared to a cayman - it doesn’t feel that small inside.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me answering questions on the way

Hi
Congratulations!
That is shocking. I Actually thought it must be a Taycan at first glance. Caymans aren't even considered to be that big these days.

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Great to see it back on the road its looking good.
Fantastic colour especially on a Coupe.
I realised how small my Elan is when I was having an off road demonstration in a Range Rover. They said the maximum depth it could wade through water. I explained that was deeper than my Elan is tall.
Also lorry hub caps at eye level and the fact I could easily drive underneath the trailer are quite intimidating.

Very true but at least they see me coming in this colour.
I also drive a Messerschmitt KR 200 on the road which is really tiny against 4 x 4 ‘s
