Discrepancy in Robinshaw and Ross book?

On page 69 of the authors' book The Original Lotus Elan, there is a chart showing a range of MkI engine numbers, starting at 7474, which had a pushfit oil pump pickup as in the MkII.
Yet on the next page, this range is repeated in the text, but beginning with 7764.
I do not have the complete errata for the book. Can anyone tell me which engine number is correct, 7464 or 7764.
