High Tech Model of Elan FHC

PostPost by: tome.coelho » Sat Aug 14, 1999 1:22 am

I recently bought one of these kits from a hobby shop in California that had
it in stock. I don't know if they have any more. They are at
www.legendshobbies.com and it's in their on-line catalog. I noticed that
the same company (Gunze Sangyo) offers another Elan model that is not part
of their "High Tech" series and, while probably very decent, has no engine,
chassis, etc., so make sure you specify the right one if you contact them.
List price for the High Tech model is $50.00. My impression is that it is no
longer in production.

Brian, my impression is that the small kit will take longer to build than
the "big" kit. Sure are a lot of little pieces!

There is a High Tech Model on at e-bay at the moment. Have a look
at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-
cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=153730937

couple of days to go on the auction. As I have said before, it is a kit,
to be completed when all other kits are finished (the original). I have
one of the High Tech models sitting here in its box. I take it out
occasionally and marvel at the detail.........then go back to the original!

there is one on ebay.com. You will find it at

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-
cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=153730937

20 hours to go and I think the price is $70 at the moment.

Remember to complete your original kit before you start on this one!
