I am wanting to fit the screening plates to the engine on my S3 and wondered
if anyone on the list has dimensions/specifications of the original
fitments.

spring clips rather than by lugs to the inner studs. I attempted to make
one of these some years ago but it has never been entirely satisfactory as
it pops out every now and again.
I would also like details of the plate which fits behind the cylinder head
(attached by the top two gearbox mounting bolts) and the cover for the coil.
Can anybody help?

I have a cover on my sprint for the plugs but it bolts to the cam cover .If
you decide you want the dimensions I will gladly send them

Thanks, but I would prefer to attempt the original first.
As the factory changed to the bolted-to-the-cam-cover version maybe the
original clip-in one just plain didn't work!
