Flow through ventilation on +2

On my +2 roof vents I noticed there is a bracket riveted to the inside of the
plenum area recessed in about a inch or two from the vent mouth. The bracket
is attached to the inside panel of the plenum and the floor of the plenum so
it could serve to secure a piece of screen or some flap that controlled what
came in the vent. Certainly the louvered potmetal? piece that fits over the
vent opening won't keep anything out so maybe this was purpose? Any ideas?
Thanks. Gordon Sauer

The interior rear lights or the inside rear panels are secured on the back
side of the plenum about where you describe it. It's hard to tell from your
description if this could be it.

Thanks for reply about the bracket INSIDE the vent/plenum chamber that runs
from the louvered piece on side of roof and opens out the back, inside the car
at edge of window frame. The bracket is riveted to the fiberglass shell of
the plenum and since it is within the air vent there is no way anything can
attach from outside like interior lights. When you're driving the wind would be
passing by this "L" shaped bracket and that's why I thought it maybe had a flap
of rubber on it or screen that would control/modify airfow. Gordon Sauer
