Have put one of these in my +2 but unlike US ones that have wire array, this
only has fused green wire, obviously positive, ground strap off case and
thicker black wire that looks like antennae wire. But there is hole in back to
insert lead from the car antennae. There are some little metal spades off
back--are these the speaker leads? is this thing mono or stereo? Also, one dial
shows FM, MW, LW--what is all this? Smebody across the pond have any experince
with these. Anybody know what these things do? It sure does fit at only 4"
deep. Gordon Sauer

I can't help with this exact model of radio, only with odd bits.

Unlikely to be stereo at that age.

"FM" is Frequency Modulation", also known as "VHF".

MW and LW are both "Amplitude Modulation" (AM) bands. I could look up
the exact frequency limits for each, but CBA tonight. MW probably
corresponds quite well to your local AM bands if you're in the USA, but
the gap between transmission frequencies is not the same. (One continent
uses 10kHz, t'other uses 9kHz, can't remember which is which. This
doesn't matter if your radio doesn't have a signal-scan.)
