S4 Crashpad

Hello All,
I'd like to "restore" the crashpad on my S4 DHC - it's beginning to crack.
I've read through the archives and still don't see a (good) solution:
a) Buy an ABS shell from one of the usual suspects - sounds like no one
likes the way they look; they're roughly $400; installation requires a
good bit of work to make fit, if possible; they offer no "padding"
b) Buy a GRP shell - same as above, more $$, with slightly better appearance
c) have mine upholstered - not as costly, but winds up looking not at
all "original", like a cheaper version of Ferrari dash with French
seams/stitching, etc.
d) contact Just Dashes, Van Nyus , Calif - Just Dashes does or does not
"do" Elans, depending upon which post you believe.
I'm lost, dazed and confused (more than usual!)
So, my well learned, well respected peers... - I would appreciate it if
you would weigh in on the above or offer other suggestions
TIA,
David
