Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi Evryone,

Broke an engine mount a couple of days ago on the way home and am
trying to track down a substitute here in Helsinki. Can anyone
confirm that the Cortina's rubber engine mounts are the same as those
in an Elan +2? I saw a parts exchange on the nets that say they are
but since the only place I can find them I would need to mail order
them, I would like to be sure.

No they are not the same as Cortina. They may be same as or a variation of the Anglia ones. Bolts are in a different plain that fasten to the frame.

Dave,

You can try JAEPARTS.COM in California. They were able to provide
mounts for my Elan DHC in one day (I'm in New York) so I am sure you
can get them sent in a hurry. I am sure they will have the correct
parts if they know exactly what car you have.
