does anybody have a chassis i could get some measurements from?
i have my 1967 out to a track day , and the rear inner control arm mount
broke.
i'd like if i can find a width measurement to re-install and gusset the
mount accordingly.
any advice?
BTW the porsche boxster and corvette guy's get frustrated at elans on the
track

seem to recall that someone on here hung one from their ceiling in an
'atrium' as a piece of 'art'....looked pretty cool too!!!!!

Quite simple to look in the factory manual. Those dimensions are right there in plain sight and then you needn't worry about getting dimensions from a possibly damaged frame.

measurements. I turned my old S3 frame upside down and I'm using it
to support my bed. So I have easy access to the frame.

It works very well as a bed frame, just bolt a sheet of plywood to
it for a 4'x8' platform. Or get two sheets of plywood, turned
sideways and trim them to the width of your mattress. To raise the
front end of the frame, I use a pair of jack stands.

My wife has often accused me of having an interest in modern art rather
that classic car ownership.
She reasoned that it is the only explanation for me washing and
polishing such a big piece of plastic and steel that was obviously not a
car (as I claimed) as it never moved!

I posted a couple of photos of my Elan chassis in the attrium in an
album called "alternate chassis uses". Feel free to add other
creative uses such as beds, garden sculpture, coffee tables etc !!

I have turned an old minilite wheel in to a wall clock for my garage.
Not quite in the same league I know but it is a start.

On a far more simple veign. Caliper pistons make very stable bases for
holding candles. Brill on the deck outside! Other conversation pieces are
