Maybe it's the bad lighting but at first sight it looks like the left
hand side would foul diff removal even more than the right! I have
some more shots somewhere. I'll try and dig them out.

Tough to make a comparison with all the rust. This is what worked on my
Chassis. It was a long time ago and I no longer have the car.
