Hello Everyone...... After many, many years of searching I am found the
Right One. I am the proud owner of a 1968 Lotus Elan. All the wonderful things I
have heard and read about this beautiful piece of art and design are
true.....
Sincerely,
David

David.
My brother lives in Louisville, KY. He was a Miata owner for years.made a
mistake and bought a Corvette recently. He is now looking to trade his
Corvette back to a Miata. This is not off the track as he is also a Lotus
Elan nut..but only through my ownership over the years. He has never had the
mechanical skills to own a Lotus Elan.so he got into Miatas'.the next best
thing Where in Louisville are you and if you want to get together for a
Sunday breakfast with him.I will pass him your number. I am also there a few
times a year.
Email me off list..

David,
Welcome to the group. As an Elan owner you are now an "Active Driver"
if your Elan performs it is due to your skill, not some electronics.
This is one of the features I enjoy most about my Elan. When it moves
and stops effectively, properly and quickly it is because of ME, the
driver. Our cars require US to drive them well, they will not CYA. It
is all about you the driver, the a computer. Enjoy the ride it is
sooo wonderful.

Thanks Mike.... I am having a blast... All the looks for everyone and the
complements are just an extra boost to the joy I am having. Heck I find myself
just starring at the car thinking this can't be real....
Best wishes from Louisville, KY,
David
