Sorry for the late post on this but I have been on vacation. I bought a
Prestige carpet for my 64 S1 with mixed results. The quality of the
carpet is just okay and the fit is about the same. There are no
instructions on how to install; such as which piece to install first,
etc. The rear wall between the passenger compartment and the trunk was
delivered with slots trimmed in vinyl for shoulder belts, and I had to
have it remade, which they were good about. It took about two weekends
to complete the installation (part-time) over soundproofing material and
the results were good for the amateur that I am. My search for an
alternative carpet set to the Prestige was nil. There are several
companies that make very nice sets for the S3 and S4, but none other
than Prestige for the S1 and S2.
