Master Cylinder Resleeving

Has anyone had good experience with a re-sleeved Master Cylinder?



I've heard good and bad about different sources and am looking for satisfied
customers.



Prefer East Coast (US) but not necessary.

Briggs,

Joe Curto re-sleeved my master cylinder for my 65 Tiger. Still in car
after 4 years.
Worked better then new, did it years ago and I cannot remember what it
cost.
Paying for it does not bring back any pain, so it must not have been to
bad.
Master cylinders are not cheap.

Joe does great work, service and quality is excellent. Link below and he
is in NYC east coast.

I've had many master/slave/wheel cylinders re-sleeved in stainless over the
last 30 years and they really last. I would do in preference to replacing
the cylinder though it is not always cheaper.

I had my brake master done by Stainless Steel Brakes (SSBC). They're
somewhere in NY state. Was not cheap because the S4 master has two
bore sizes, plus I sent them the rebuild kit to do the rebuild. But
its been on the car for more than 10 years now with no problems.
