Silverstone Classic

Hello everyone, was anyone at the Historic car race event at
Silverstone last weekend. The best historic/classic car event I have
been to. Lots of Loti of all descriptions including a 26R, types
9,11,15,16,17, GT's, formula junior, formula Ford and F1 and
everything from a racing Morris Minor to the 6 wheel 1970's Tyrell F1
car, and all racing (not against each other of course). Also almost
unrestricted access to the cars in the in-field and the pits. A petrol
head's dream.

Yep, I was there on Sunday.

As you say, access to the pits was great, and it was nice to see the Lotus-Cooper battle in the 50's sportscar race in the afternoon!
