Hi,

All the paint is now stripped for my +2, repairs done and it is ready for
repainting.

The guy I used to paint the Stylus and who did an excellent job, has quoted
?2000 to repaint the car. Is this a "fair" price?

Can anyone else recommend someone, ideally in West Yorkshire?

Sounds a lot to me, particularly as it sounds like most of the hard work has been done already.

Why not buy a compressor and some paint and have a go yourself? That's whatI did last summer and I'm glad that I did; The results look good, I now have sufficient skills to carry out my own bodywork repairs and re-paint if Ihave a mishap and I can use the car without the worry of getting scratchesin a 2 or 3k paint job.
