Hi,

I brought a spare bonnet (hood?) for my +2 in case I made a hash of getting
my original one to fit correctly.

My "new" bonnet is an early example with no hand holes in the back edge and
has been fitted as it has been painted a couple of times.

However, the bobbins (thread inserts) are made from brass hexagons, not
aluminum ovals as on my car. Was this normal for the earlier cars?

Just curious.

David

PS I may not need it now, so if it is any use to any one else they can have
it for what I paid for it, ?15, + P&P.

Hi david,
I'd be interested in the bonnet if it's a flat one, i.e. without
the Stromberg hump.

Cheers
