Plating Cost

When I redid my Lotus, the chrome was bad, so I took it to our local industrial
chrome shop tht specializes in cars. The had done my AH3000 bumpers which
were beautiful, so I had all the Lotus parts done for about $6-700. After
etching, filling pits, buffing, and then 5 layers of metal: (2 Copper,1 Nickel,
and 2 Chrome (1 dull and 1 bright)) - the parts are 400% better than new.
No problems with the sub-base pot metal stuff Lotus used. I'm in Europe and
can't find their number for some reason. SO do a search under my name and
plating. About 2 years ago. Believe it was PG Products - Cincinnati. These
are a full size professional shop. All they do is plating.
No relation, blah blah blah.
