Carpet patterns

PostPost by: waschu2 » Sat Apr 02, 2005 3:25 pm

My chassis is 95% done and the body goes off for paint this month. I am
not ready for carpets yet, but since other people are looking for carpet
information I thought it might be a good time to ask if anyone has
patterns for Elan Coupe carpet set?

Thanks
Wayne

Hello Wayne,
when I put my Elan S4 FHC together again in 1992 after a full mechanical
restoration I also renewed the carpetry. I made drawings of the old carpet
parts that came out. I did put them in a simple Autocad drawing. In 1992 the
issue came up in this group and I supplied my drawing to a great number of
people. Gareth Flanagan inproved my original drawing a lot. So now I have
the drawing set available as .bmp, .jpg and .doc. I will send the .doc file
to you directly.

regards,

Re: Drawings of carpets for an Elan coupe...

If you still have the drawings in any CAD form, that might be
excellent, If you or anyone might be interested in sharing them.

I work in solidworks, and would be happy to take autoCAD files and
update them into this more latter-day program, and output in dxf and
whatever other type of file people might like...

regards
Steve

I would be very interested, since I will be ready to upholster soon (yeah, right!). dxf or drw would be great.
Thanks!

Stan

Would you be so kind as to put me on your circulation list.
I have 2 S2s and both will need carpets.
Cheers
