Hinge pins

I am in the UK and recently bought new door hinge pins from Matty's.
These are the large plastic threaded items with the half ball on the
end. My original onews were white, but the ones I got from Matty had
poorly cut threads, and I could not get them in. As always they were
very good about having them back. Does anyone know a good source for
these? The ones from Matty were black; just to possibly help you with
the source.
