Thanks to everyone who looked at their drive shaft clearance for me.
Now, onto brake caliper rebuilds. I agree with using your grease gun to
pop out rusted caliper pistons. I found out years ago that the end of my
flex hose on my grease gun will screw into most Girling calipers far
enough to get a good seal. A couple of pumps and one of the pistons will
start to move. I then C-clamp that one and pump until the other one
moves until almost out, clamp that one etc. Because of the film of brake
fluid inside the calipers I find the the grease falls out as a lump and
clean up is easy afterwards.
