elite ft hub

can anybody advise if the frt wheel hubs on the early elite are a
dedicated lotus part or modified from something like an MGA or sunbeam
alpine?
here in australia we are having our biannual gathering at easter and
a mate of mine has just found a spun wheel bearing in the rt ft hub
which may stop him having a run.

Bill,
Can't help with the info on the hub (I'll check my Elite book later) however, I have used Loctite Bearing Fit in industrial operations to overcome this problem in the short term, until we could get new parts. It will take up about .01" no problem and ought to cope with the heat OK. Worth a go ratherthan missing the run?
