Update on the Lotus Rendezvous at the Glen, July,2005

Tony,

Just curious why you are doing this event in June w/ the HSR event rather than in Sept with SVRA. I can't imagine there will be a strong turnout of on-track Lotus w/ HSR and it is also not on the MR schedule this year either,so there will be few if any formula cars.

I really don't understand..we are not doing it on either of those dates or
with those groups. Our event is being held on July 15, and 16th.

The reasons for this is this is hotel availability, and we also think to
have the event on a weekend where there is racing does not give the
attendees enough time to do both Lotus things and the race things. The Glen
that week is hosting the Finger Lakes wine festival.

There is also the weather.early Sept weather at the Glen (all of you old F1
guys know this) is very unpredictable. July is pretty safe in Upstate NY.
