Hi John
I am just about to renew with Footman james. I did shop around and I found
they were competive for the cover I needed.
Norton insurance did a good quote.
Firebond quoted an absolutely ridiculous amount.
Carole Nash ( I think did a resonable quote).

Try lancastser insurance
http://www.lancaster-ins.co.uk/index.htm
I got mine cheaper from them and with a better recovery policy thrown in
for free too!!!!
Footman James's recovery refused to get me home as I was too
close.....my brakes had gone and I didn't want to hit anything but they
made me......its a good job I timed the lights and waited until very
late a night to go back and get it so as to avaoid any
traffic......anyway.....Ive found them much better (although I don't
suppose I can say that as this past year has been trouble free)...mine
is due in 14 days I'll ring them and find out how much later this
afternoon......
Cheers

Check Norton out if you are thinking of doing any trackdays.
Their policies include FREE cover for non-competitive events.
Their rates are certainly comparable with FJ (in my case, cheaper),
and FJ don't seem to approve of trackdays...
