Lotus Elan

Colin's quotes

PostPost by: "Ian Phillips" » Thu Feb 10, 2005 10:46 pm

Good thinking Ian, but too technical for me. I am still thinking about where
the UK bus industry would be today if Lotus had made buses.

BTW, where is everybody? us CLOGs seem to have taken over this group
tonight, well in a small way.

How about E=MC2 :-)

Don't forget that if it was a Lotus bus it would be very light !!!!!!

According to the EU directive, the tensile yield strength of a 6mm (1/4" in
old money) bolt must be:

Yield strength Rp0, 2 min 640 MPa.

So does that answer your question?

Pete.

Maybe the rest of the LotusElan.net are out driving along winding
mountain roads.
Leaving a trail of Porches and BWM's in their oily tracks.

Bob Metz is parked at a drive through trying to explain why his car has
no "Cup" holders. Super size or otherwise.
Rob LaMoreaux is trying to measure the luggage capacity of his Elan -v-
his Corvette
65 Lotus was hurt in a bizarre "Gas tank" welding experiment
ardee_slby is trapped by defective door stays
Brian Goodison is still perplexed by his gearbox
Briggs Pletcher is looking for a windshield
***@***.*** in Africa or someplace.
e s is playing at a re-wire.
Edwards Ray, is gluing a model Elan together
elanspring71 is struggling with his bad back.
Ian Phillips is attempting to measure the tensile strength of 1960's
1/4" bolts. (We want a graph)
Brian Gush is trying to get an S4 bonnet (hood) to fit an S2..........
eFFing Ian is gazing a grazing sheep.
Trevor can't get his starter to start.
Gareth is busy changing his wheels.
Scott potter's looking for a grommet
Sean murray's got 5 speeds and a squeak
William "kip" king can't get his dipping stick to seal
&
<Drum roll>
At the end of the alphabetical list.....
Zuckerman tells us that "Land Rover is owned by Ford."
