PostPost by: type36lotus » Wed Jan 19, 2005 11:56 pm

eBay item # 7948097849 went for $1,626.00. What do new ones go for?
Is aratchet on this list?

Mike 66 S3 Coupe'...now figuring the head is worth more than 10% of
the car's value!

New ones go for a little more than twice that - at least they do on this
side of the pond...

Mike,
Yeah, and most likely it'll still need some work beyond the mentioned
valve job. Prices like these are pulling up prices on old Stromberg
heads. I remember when they weren't worth much more than $50! Of
course, weber heads were priced accordingly, too.
