+2 Rear bumper

PostPost by: davidallen » Wed Dec 01, 2004 9:18 am

Does anyone know what the +2 rear bumper was off? The front bumper, as
everyone know's, was from a Ford Anglia, but from what was the rear bumper
taken?

Thanks in advance.

David,

As I understand, the tooling was the same as the Riley Elf/Wolseley Hornet, with the centre section extended, ie it's not a bolt-on swop.

I have just had a look at a few elf's for sale on ebay, and I think you may
be right!

It looks like they use the same number plate lights, but have overriders
fitted, so I guess that is why my bumper has two chrome bolts, one at each
end, which do not seem to serve any purpose.
