Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

For those with the non-retractable seats belts of either 3-point or 2
point. What is the mounting method? Eyebolts or straight bolts?

I just removed mine last night. There is a chromed bolt that screws in
through the chrome plate at the end of the belt. There is a black plastic piece
that fills in the rest of the "8" cut-out on the plate. There is also a white
plastic stepped collar that the bolt goes through and fits in the metal plate
as well as a large metal washer.
