+2 colour

Hi,
Bit of a long shot this, but does anyone in the UK remember seeing many
years ago a +2 in a very none original blue/silver colour scheme. I have
been removing the paint from my red car and have discovered this underneath!
I guess it was painted this colour in the 70's or 80's, afterwich it was
painted black and then repainted again the original red (some people can
never make up their minds!)
However, in blue/silver it must have been quite distinctive and I would be
interested in any info someone may have in corner of their minds.

Is that different to the lagoon blue body with the silver metaflake
roof?????.........I have seen many variations of paint jobs with stripes
over the roof....versions of colours in the JPS style......some really
unappetising versions of yellow and brown.......
Cheers

No,
It was dark blue with silver sills, rather like a poor mans sprint colour
scheme.
I once nearly brought a +2s 130 which was yellow with a gold metalflake
roof. I am not usually influenced by the colour but..........

The first +2 I saw besides my own was dark blue with a silver roof. I don't
remember if it was metallic but it was very faded so it might have been
once. The sills may have been silver too. Car was in Houston about 1992.
I have some conventional pictures of it if you are interested.
