Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Our S3 has been converted to a Lucas alternator. I understand that
there is some 'voltage regulation electronics' in the alternator
which can be changed. Where are they? What do they look like?

It should only be necessary to change the Voltage Regulator in an alternator
if it is faulty. It would probably be easier to get an exchange unit
