I believe my S3 is fitted with this setup.
I am afraid I can't answer your question, but while mine works well (if you are happy with the on/off nature of the clutch - which I guess you are if you are racing it) it sounds like a bag of spanners when it is disengaged. I have had a cursory look at it, and it seems to be the arms of the pressure plate rattling against the frame of the clutch. I am not whether 'they all do that sir', or if mine has a particular problem.

I spoke with Dave Bean here in the USA. Going with an annular set up. Will require a little more work on my part but is a very good solution. Ran an annular in my Swift DB6 formula ford for years.
The only issue is having to remove the motor and tranny should there be a problem with the throw out bearing.
