Is anybody on the forum racing at Goodwood this year?

I'm there in the Madgwick Cup which this year is for sports-racing cars between 1948 and 1955.

The provisional timetable has us as Race no 2 and should be the first race on Saturday morning. Qualifying is on Friday and I assume we'll be the second qualifying group.

If you're coming, I'm in the white/blue Lotus Mk IX carrying number 41 which was its race number in 1955 when it was the highest placed Lotus in the Goodwood 9 hours finishing 11th overall.

I hope to be there first thing Friday, and will look out for your qualification run, after which I shall certainly seek you out if you do not mind. I have a grandstand pass for Saturday and shall certainly be there for the race!

If I remember, Lavant is exclusive requiring a separate access and parking ticket - or am I mistaken?

This year we are in a b&b place not a 5 minute walk away, so we do not have parking tickets! But if you have a break and want a coffee in the general area, yes, call me 0033 six two seven one six one six two four!

Lavant is a GRRC members area.
If you wish to park there, there is an additional fee for those GRRC members choosing to do so
