Rolling start at Snetterton at the weekend. I was a lot further back on the grid racing in an MGA but the incident caused a lot of grief due to the pace car being out for several laps. The onboard footage shows what it is like to lose a wheel in an Elan at speed.

N.B. The Camaro was pulling over 160mph on the strait.

Is it known why the hubshaft broke apart?
Don´t want to experience the same when I find the right GTS to buy on the market.

I didn't speak to them after the race but it is a S1 GTS or 26R replica if you prefer with mostly TTR components chassis etc.....
