Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

A few shots of the Elan. It was a wet and windy weekend. Down at Phillip Island the MotoGP bikes qualifying was cancelled due to the strong cross winds blowing them off the track down the main straight when they are doing over 300 kmh. Down the Sandown straight it was equally interesting in the Elan at 220 kmh being hit by a 80 kmh cross wind gust and the car going 3 metres sideways on the wet track. The pictures are from the few dry times on the track.
