There was a dismantled project locally here a few months ago, not cheap in my view (44k?, dubious 1460 engine in part) but was deterred me most was the sandblasting of the body, gelcoat included, to "seal it" with an extra layer of fiberglass: lots of work to attempt to get a proper body finish I would think.
the dream goes on, may stay a dream for ever...
