Trunnions

Hi all

I'm planning on running 8" slicks on the front with a stiff anti roll bar and an engine producing around 220 BHP

What is the general opinion on the ability of trunnions to put up with the likely loads that will be placed on them?

Thanks
Gavin

26Rs managed with slicks and trunnions.

However, if concerend you could use these.................I am :-)

Not cheap, but you can recoup some of the cost by selling your old bits :-)

They were used in F1 in the late 50's/ early 60's I believe & a lot of classic sports racers still rely on them.

For race use you can get the upright without the grease nipple and drilling.
The thoughts being that after each race or every other race the upright and trunnion will be inspected and re-lubricated. I believe this is used by many with a GTS car
