Fantastic fun - tarmac rallies are my favourite form of motorsport. I've had 1-2 whacks over the years - had a rear wheel come loose at speed while overtaking a Porsche - turned out to be a loose spinner, and ended up with a very lucky (well, skilful) save. After that, I switched to bolt-on hubs for safety - never lost a whole hub though, which looks like what happened to the first guy. The second guy looks like he came in too hot - do they allow pace notes in the TA?

Here's me at Mt Buller last year - 18km hillclimb and 3 days of winding mountain roads - yeeha!
