No Chancer, I'm afraid it was a synchro box. Turns out it had the wrong outer hubs fitted which meant the only way to race was to torture it - and drive one handed much of the time which is not the approved way!
It's all sorted now with the right parts so it just gently slots into a gear and stays there until asked to do otherwise.

Fantastic video Paul, great to have a chat with you at Croft.
After seeing the race, with you see sawing up and down the leader board I just knew it would be good to watch what had happened.

Would love to see you have a better run at Croft next year ?

Throwaway trivia:

Griffiths were assembled in Syosset NY, about 3 miles from where I live on Long Island NY.

Mark Donoghue was their test driver & is reputed to rest drive cars on the Long Island Expressway!

Now back to our regular viewing...
