Seems that Alan Fleming Lotus Elan was loosing oil during free practice, then he lost control in the parabolic curve.
A very sad day for all Lotus fan.
Christian.

Here is a translation:

"In the free practice of triumph Competition and British GTs, the 69-year-old Scottish racing driver Dr. Albert Fleming was killed yesterday.

He rolled over without foreign participation with his Lotus Elan on the Parabolika. Despite immediately initiated rescue efforts by the race doctors he succumbed to his injuries. The event was canceled immediately.

Dr. Fleming took since his 18th birthday instead of races throughout Europe and loved, according to his team-mates his sport. At the request of the family and the race series, the event will take place on Saturday and Sunday as planned.

In Memory of Dr. Fleming, his fellow drivers and the organizers gather this Saturday at a minute's silence on the racetrack."

RIP
