Lotus - The Historic Sports & Racing Cars Of Australia. By Marc Schagen.
Marc has spent decades keeping track off and recording and compiling
the successes, failures and movements of the racing lotus cars of
Australia.
The details of the cars provided in this book are astonishing, way
beyond what I ever expected, and what has made it even more
special was seeing ones own car featured.
Take a look at the scan below (With authors permission) from the book
and you'll learn that it spent many years on the racetrack, until
I purchased the car and set about rebuilding the elan to put
It back on the road.
The photo in the book of the first rebuild was taken in 1993,
and after four long years the second rebuild has just been
completed.
Well done Marc, this book will be appreciated by many lotus
owners and enthusiasts both in Australia and abroad, providing
a specific reference guide for many, many decades to come.
