Elan Race in Texas, November 2012?
Posted: Sat Jun 30, 2012 3:39 amWas wondering if those of us in the US would like to gather for an Elan race with CVAR at Texas World Speedway, November 2nd-4th. We have 4 elans in the club, would love to see a few guests! Weather will likely be perfect (read not cold). The group we run in often has 25+ cars.
TWS is a great 2.9 mile road course sweeping in and out of a superspeedway built in the '60's. The corners flow great - wonderful track! The CVAR club gives more track time then any club I've been too, with usually 5-6 practice times on friday, qualifying and two races on saturday, warmup and two races on sunday. They stress safe racing and a fun spirit.
