Who are you to say it's not a Shapecraft This is a strong case for Debate.
I presume it had just turned up there to tow the Land Rover back Home In any case the Driver is/was definitely long sighted considering the position of the rear view Mirrors & the wheel arches are a worthy addition to the good, bad & the ugly thread.

Hi Pete
There are more details of the car on page 4 of the Racing section under the heading Elan race history. I have got many photos, race programes and Autosport with the car mentioned in race reports. Unfortunately Brian Sherwood died in a road accident in 1969 and so I have been unable to unearth what happened to the car between 1967 and the late 1990s. I have met the mechanic who built the fastback, it was made on a chicken wire former. The fastback to me was more sleeker looking than the Shapecraft but the wheel arches were plain ugly.
